Today at the MPIPHP, two motions were approved. The first motion is to continue coverage for the December 22, 2019 to June 20, 2020 qualifying period.

This will extend benefits from September 1, 2020 through February 28, 2021.

Brother Ted Miller passed away on June 16th, 2020. He became a 728 member 43 years ago on Feb 26th, 1977. Ted was 65 years old.

5-29-2020 St. Joe's announces the resumption of surgical procedures

Since St Joseph’s Medical Center is frequently used by members using Anthem Blue Cross from MPIPHP, they send us updates to pass on.

They want to share some important information that could be beneficial to our health and well being.

On April 22, 2020, Gov. Gavin Newsom lifted restrictions at hospitals, allowing surgical procedures to resume.

Brother John l. Murray passed away on 5-28-2020. John was 86 years old and a 42-year member of Local 728 having been obligated on March 25th, 1978.

He was appointed Lot Steward at CBS Radford on Jan 20th, 2003.

Notice of passing: James Rose on 5-24-2020.

Brother James Rose passed away on 5-24-2020 at the age of 73.

Brother Rose became a member of Local 728 on November 24th, 1965, 55 years ago.

Notice of Passing: John Buckley on March 31st, 2020

Brother John Buckley passed away on March 31st, 2020 at the age of 60. He was a 29 year member since 3-23-1991.
