IAM Maine Lobstering Union members are buying a wholesaling operation.

Financing for the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound wholesaling operation is coming from the Bank of Labor.

IMLU Local 207 President Rocky Alley told the Portland Press Herald that it's been a dream of the union lobstering workers for two years. A co-op like this, he says, will help the workers make more money and have stability for generations to come.
