[In Person] Rigging and Electrical Math Workshop - May 6 2024

This joint class with IATSE Local 80 will provide training from basic algebra skills through advanced calculations required for both set lighting and grip crews. Math is an essential part of the planning for both rigging and first unit crews and are essential for the safety and efficiency of production. Math skills are perishable so take every opportunity to sharpen your math skills.

This class is intended to prepare people to take the ETCP Certification Exams. It is presented in conjunction with IATSE Local 80 and the full class is two days long with Day 2 being optional for Local 728 Members. Day 1 will cover basic math skills and then we will split off and cover electrical calculations while the grips focus on Rigging Math. The Optional Day 2 will continue Rigging Math for Grips and then have a session on ETCP Test Taking Strategies.
