PA State University Faculty Ready To Strike Against Cheapening Of Education

Faculty at 14 Pennsylvania state universities have voted overwhelmingly to authorize a strike. They have worked 450 days without a contract at the campuses where a total of 107,000 students are enrolled. Dr. Kenneth M. Federal Judge Orders Bankrupt Hanjin To Unload Stranded Ships In Los Angeles

A federal judge has ordered the Korean shipping giant Hanjin to unload ships stranded at sea at the Port of Los Angeles due to its bankruptcy. Hanjin filed bankruptcy, leaving dozens of ships in limbo. Workers from sailors to longshoremen to truck drivers and warehouse workers were left uncertain of whether or not they will be paid. to unload the ships.
