NY Charts Course To Defend Immigrants, Make $15 Real

Fight For $15 movement supporters in New York City are using a Workers Forum to begin to chart the course for making $15 an hour real in New York.

Low wage workers, unions, and city and state officials are coming together to defend economic security and dignity for workers under the incoming Trump administration.

"Making $15 Real In The Era of Trump: How New York City and State Can Support And Defend Immigrant Workers" is the name of the workers forum set for Wednesday night in New York City. It's a response to Trump's anti-immigrant campaign rhetoric and his appointment of fast food CEO Andy Puzder as U.S. Labor Secretary.
