[In Person] Ethernet Protocols 101

Lighting control networks are now more than just DMX and dimmers. Many sets have hundreds of lighting devices on a network and Ethernet connects everything together. This course covers the purpose of Ethernet, CAT cable, ethernet switches, IP addressing, wifi, fiber, and network design considerations. This material is for any occupation within 728 from the CLT to LCP to the SLT.

This class covers topics that are listed as being in the content outline for the ETCP Entertainment Electrician Certification Exam.

• This CSATTF-funded class requires that you have completed all of your SAFETY PASS classes. You can check your status at https://portal.csatf.org/roster/general
• You may only take this course once within the CSATTF Training Eligibility Window (see Additional Information below for more details.)
• Placement in this class is not guaranteed until your eligibility with CSATTF and Local 728 is confirmed.
• Seating for this class is limited.

Sign-ups for this class will open on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 9:00AM and will close on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 8:00AM with a LOTTERY being held later that day. All members who have signed-up for the class will be notified and those whose names are not drawn will be placed on the Waiting List in order of the drawing.
