Senate Bill 1160 Helps Put Injured Workers on the Path to Recovery

When it comes to receiving medical care following an on-the-job injury, workers in California are finding that the deck is often stacked against them.

Across the state, hard-working men and women are having the medical care they need delayed, and sometimes flat out denied, due to an overly complicated review process that seems tilted toward insurance companies and employers rather than the injured workers it’s supposed to be helping.

Oregon Unions Campaigning For Corporate Tax Ballot Initiative

Unions in Oregon are campaigning for a November ballot measure, known as Measure 97, that will require corporations that have over 25 million dollars in sales in the state to pay their fair share and help fund public education, health care and senior services.

IATSE Phone Banking
Starting Wednesday, September 21 thru November 2, 2016,
the California IATSE Coalition (CIC) will be needing volunteers
that involve phone banking and precinct walking. 


Phone Banking will be conducted every Wednesday night at Local 80,
except on October 6. October 6 will be on a Thursday night.
Please make every effort to send Volunteers from each local.
