The FIFA World Cup, Superbowl 2027, and the Los Angeles Olympics 2028 will create more work than our sister Locals can accommodate. To help keep union members working in union jobs, Hollywood CPR is teaming up with IATSE Locals 33, 80, and 122 to provide cross-skill training for IATSE members. This training will give you the opportunity to work in live events with IATSE members from all across California.
This training, hosted by IATSE Local 80, will be five consecutive days, March 23rd – March 27th, on their stage in Burbank. Members who complete all five days of training will have the option to be placed on all participating Locals’ referral lists. You will be required to provide your own transportation and housing.
The skills offered are based on what the stagehand locals anticipate they will need for the upcoming events and two tracks are offered: Rigging and A/V.
