OSHA 10 Hour General Industry with Focus on Entertainment Safety

OSHA 10 March 28 & 29

This comprehensive 10-hour course is designed to provide an understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, specifically developed for the entertainment industry. The course emphasizes recognizing, preventing, and mitigating safety hazards in environments such as our stages, studios, locations, theaters, and convention centers.

This course starts with Introduction to OSHA, which will familiarize yourself with OSHA's role, responsibilities, rights of workers, employer responsibilities, how to file a complaint, and more.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry card, signifying their understanding of essential safety practices in the entertainment industry. This course is ideal for anyone working in the entertainment sector who wants to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.

The OSHA 10 is intended for crew persons working in both the motion picture and live event workspace. This training is required by many employers who will be doing events around the upcoming events in Los Angeles such as the World Cup and Olympics. If you are working as a Crew Chief, you will need the OSHA 30 hour training course and the hours in the OSHA 10 are not transferable to the OSHA 30.
