Local 728 has sent two of our Young Workers Committee members to this year's YWC conference, taking place this weekend.
Over 200 young IATSE members have attended the Young Workers Conferences to learn more about the union, the labor movement, organizing, media and messaging, and more. This year, we'll be holding our Conference in Atlanta, GA at IATSE Local 479's union hall.
On-location filming is growing in Greater Los Angeles, having increased 11.4 percent (as measured in total Shoot Days, or SD) in the first quarter of 2016 over the same period the prior year.
