Brother Sean Ginn age 41 passed away on April 2nd, 2022 in Sam Mateo. Brother Ginn was a 20 year member of Local 728. He was a popular CLT, well liked by his crewmates. He shall be missed.

Notice of Member Passing: William "Bill" McKane on 3-29-22
Brother Bill McKane age 65, passed away on 3-29-2022. Brother McKane was obligated on April 24th, 1976.
Brother Mckane was son of Local 728 member Frank McKane.
Bill had a long and distinguished career before retiring in March, 2010.
Celebration of life services are pending.

Brother Chris Bateman age 63 passed away on March 10, 2022.
Chris would have celebrated his 43rd year in Local 728 on March 24th.

Member passing: Andrew "Andy" Carroll on 2-27-22
Brother Andy Carroll passed away on February 27th, 2022 at the age of 82.
He joined Local 728 on November 12th, 1966 and retired in 2002 after a 36 year career.
Up until very recently, Andy was still meeting up with other 728 retirees to enjoy a cup of coffee and share stories.
For all of us who knew Andy and worked alongside him, he will be remembered for exemplifying what it means to be "the back bone" of Local 728; hard working, fun loving, taking the ups along with the downs - all in stride.
Notice of passing: Richmond "Aggie" Aguilar
Brother Richmond "Aggie" Aguilar passed away on Saturday, February 12th 2022 at the age of 90. Aggie joined Local 728 in November of 1973 and was 48 year member of Local 728.
Our brother had a long and distinguished career as a CLT.
Notice of member passing: Lloyd Gowdy on 12-23-21
Brother Lloyd Gowdy passed away on December 23rd, 2021 at the age of 78. Brother Gowdy joined Local 728 in April, 1967 and was a 54 year member. Lloyd retired in February 2004 and was often seen at our retiree luncheons.

Brother Bruce Honer passed away on December 21st, 2021 at the age of 69 years. Bruce joined Local 728 in May of 2009 and left the industry in 2018.

Brother Jim Grce passed away on 1-17-2022. Brother Grce was a 31 year member of Local 728, having sworn in on September 26, 1990. Jim retired on October 1, 2019
Notice of member passing: Ben Graham on 1-6-2022
Brother Ben Graham passed away on January 6th, 2022 at the age of 80. Brother Graham was obligated into the membership of Local 728 on April 13th, 1968 making him a 53 year member of our Local. Ben retired on July 1st, 2001.

Member George Silic passed away on 1-11-22 at the age of 62.
George was a 42 year member of Local 728 having been obligated in 1979.
Brother Silic retired in 2014.
