David Hilton

Instructor Bio: 

David Hilton graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors Degree in Theatre, emphasis in Lighting Design. Through a freelance career that included working with LA Opera and LA Ballet, he transitioned into the manufacturers side of the industry in 2007 by becoming a Field Project Coordinator for Electronic Theatre Controls (ETC). This position has made him an expert on ETCs products and systems, especially their most recent console line Eos, Ion, and Element. Specific to these consoles, hes helped guide numerous customers with load-ins, tech rehearsals, and shows. Some of these customers include LA Opera, Mark Taper Forum, Hollywood Bowl, Tonight Show with Conan OBrian, Dr. Phil, So You Think You Can Dance?, Conan, Golden Globe Awards, El Capitan Theatre, and the Academy Awards. He currently works out of ETCs Hollywood office and services the western half of the United States and Canada.
