Electrical Power Sources

The electrical power source is the beginning (and the end) of the electrical circuit. Understanding the source of the electricity is essential to working with it effectively. This class will examine how generators, transformers, and batteries function and how to use them for a safe and efficient set. Issues of transportation, storage, and appropriate use will be covered. This class integrates the materials developed the Battery Technology class previously under development. This class covers topics that are listed on the Content Outline for the ETCP Entertainment Electrician and Portable Power Distribution Technician Certifications.
