Changes to Article 530 of the National Electrical Code

Class Description:

Article 530 of the National Electrical Code/NFPA 70 governs the use of electrical distribution systems in Motion Picture and Television Studios and Remote Locations. Over the past three years Local 728's Standards & Codes Committee led a coalition of entertainment industry lighting professionals from ESTA and the IATSE to bring the entire article up to our current code of practice. This webinar will go over the changes to the NEC including changing the scope of the article to encompass remote locations, including support areas in Article 530, and other requirements for the safe operation of our portable electrical power distribution systems.
