IATSE Endorses Joe Biden for President of the United States

IATSE’s General Executive Board voted unanimously Monday to extend its endorsement to Former Vice President Joe Biden for President of the United States.

To help support the Entertainment Industry’s professional workers, the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) are urging congress to prioritize certain items in subsequent COVID-19 relief packages. One of the first priorities on the IATSE’s list is to require the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to issue an Emergency Temporary Standard to protect those performing essential work in news and media- such as converting facilities into field hospitals – from occupation exposure to infectious diseases, including COVID-19.
