[In Person] Ethernet Protocols 101 - Dec 29 2021

Lighting control networks are now more than just DMX and dimmers. Many sets have hundreds of lighting devices on a network and Ethernet connects everything together. This course covers the purpose of Ethernet, CAT cable, ethernet switches, IP addressing, wifi, fiber, and network design considerations. This material is for any occupation within 728 from the CLT to LCP to the SLT.

This class covers topics that are listed as being in the content outline for the ETCP Entertainment Electrician Certification Exam.

Seating for this class is limited and all COVID protocols required by LA County, the City of Burbank, or the sponsoring vendor will be enforced. Enrollment for this classes will be determined by lottery. Everyone will be listed as PENDING with only the members who are selected by the drawing and who have completed the applications being listed as ENROLLED in the class. The sign up period for this class starts now and will end on Monday, December 6 at 10:00AM. People selected for the class will be notified on Monday December 6 and members on the waiting list will be notified as spaces open up.
