ETCP Study Group - Nov 10 2019

Interested in becoming ETCP Certified? Sign up for our Study Group and Local 728 will help you refresh your knowledge and sharpen your skills on topics such as control protocols, practical electrical problem solving, power theory, the National Electrical Code, theatrical terminology, rigging, and much more. Everyone who has become certified has said that the process of preparing for the exam makes them a much better technician and opened up their work opportunities. The study group will be utilizing the resources that Local 728 has to offer including Skills Training classes, test taking seminars, certified Subject Matter Experts, and seminars on specific topics of your choosing. This is not a one-time meeting but several classes, meetings, and seminars over the next several months.

The specific topic for this session will be about Standards and Codes. To prepare, please read Articles 518, 520, 525, and 530 of the National Electrical Code/NFPA 70. Make sure that you understand the difference between to two to make the use of your time more efficient.
