President Cruz Would Silence Working People: Winners and Losers of the Week

President Cruz Would Silence Working People: Winners and Losers of the Week
Winners: Carli Lloyd, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Becky Sauerbrunn and Hope Solo, after the players for the U.S. women's national soccer team stood up against wage discrimination last week.
Runners-Up: Working people who supply Driscolls, the world's largest berry distributor, for fighting for better working conditions, fair pay and a voice on the job.
Loser: Ted Cruz, for endorsing a national right to work law, which would serve little purpose other than to silence the voices of working people.
Runner-Up: Xanterra Parks & Resorts, after the contractor at Yellowstone National Park was accused of exposing employees to asbestos and retaliating against those who complained about the danger.
