The 31st Annual Labor Day Picnic

When:  Monday, September 5th

Time:  11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Where:  Anderson River Park (Main BBQ area)

Admission:  Meal ticket $4.00 (include hamburger, chicken, or hot dog, beans & chips, (ages 6 & under free) – pre-sale tickets will be eligible for drawing (100% American made raffle prizes!).  Pick up pre-sale tickets at the CLC or at your local union office.

Additional Activities:  Watermelon Eating Contest at 2:00 p.m., Live Music by Fire Mountain Rock, Fishing Derby at Noon (bring your own bait & pole and come early), and soda, beer, Bingo, other concessions, and raffle tickets will be offered at a very nominal charge.

Where:  Pirates Bay at the Fresno Fairgrounds (entrance and free parking on Chance Avenue)

Admission:  $10.00 (children under 12 eat for free)

Activities:  At the Pirate’s Cove Playground, Kiddy Cake Walk, Bounce House, raffle, pet adoptions, current events, local candidates, voter registration, citizenship resources, 2016 election information, and Union Park & Worker’s Memorial.

Labor Day Picnic at the Park – BBQ by Sacramento City Eats and Live DJ Music

          River Cats game: First pitch at 1:05 p.m.        

Where:  River Walk Park, 65 2nd Street, West Sacramento – Parking is available in the parking structure for $7 – bring lawn chairs and blankets

   River Cats Field – 400 Ballpark Drive, West Sacramento

Admission:  BBQ is free for union members and their families

River Cats tickets are available for $10 per person for general admission to members and their families - River Casts vs. Albuquerque Isotopes

Parking:  Carpool parking is free with 4 or more people per vehicle
