The Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plan has a new and improved web site. It has a new look that is much more user friendly. There is a lot of good information and a new ‘on line services’ feature.
If you sign up for the on line services, you are able to monitor your personal account. You can check your current status and personal information. You can audit current and past contributions. It’s an excellent resource for accessing all the information the plan has about you and to verify its accuracy.
Here’s how it works. You just click on the “Sign Up” button on the home page at
http://www.mpiphp.org
and follow the on screen instructions. After you sign up, they mail you a letter of
confirmation within a few days and give you a ‘temporary’ password. You then go back to the web site and click the “Sign In” button and sign in using the temporary password then follow the on screen instructions. You fill in your info then pick a new permanent password. You submit the information and you’re all set. So check it out, it’s definitely worth while.
